June 18, 2023 marks the 40th anniversary since the Islamic Republic of Iran hanged 10 Baha’i women in one night in the Iranian city of Shiraz. Their crime? The 10 women, who were mostly in their 20s and one as young as 17, refused to recant their faith. Many were arrested for leading Baha’i children’s classes and spent up to six tortuous months in prison. The Edmond Baha'i Faith was joined by the Oklahoma City metro Baha’i community Friday night in remembering these incredibly brave and faithful young women.
